IDBI Bank has released its official recruitment notification for 1300 vacancies for the posts of Junior Assistant Manager (JAM – Grade 'O') and Assistant Manager (Grade 'A') for the year 2026–27. ibpsreg.ibps.in This is a golden opportunity for graduates looking to build a career in the banking sector.

Vacancy Details

Out of the total 1300 vacancies, 1100 posts are for Junior Assistant Manager (JAM Grade 'O') and 200 posts are for Assistant Manager (Grade 'A').

Eligibility Criteria

For JAM Grade 'O': Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, from a government-recognized university. Diploma holders are not eligible. 

Age Limit (JAM): 20 to 25 years. 

For Assistant Manager Grade 'A': Candidates must be graduates with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in any scheduled public sector bank, private sector bank, cooperative bank, or regional rural bank. Experience in branch banking, credit, retail assets, or sales is preferred. Professional qualifications like CA, CMA, CFA, JAIIB, or CAIIB are desirable.

Age Limit (AM): 21 to 30 years.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹1,050 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates and ₹250 for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

Selection Process

The selection process includes four stages: Online Written Examination, Personal Interview, Document Verification, and a Pre-Recruitment Medical Test.

For the online exam, JAM candidates are scheduled for the morning session and Assistant Manager candidates for the afternoon session on the exam date.

Salary

The expected in-hand salary for JAM is approximately ₹42,000–₹45,000 per month, and for Assistant Manager it is approximately ₹50,000–₹55,000 per month. The package also includes allowances and medical benefits.
